The church choir, made up of adults and children, sings at each Sunday morning service at 9.30am. They lead the congregation in singing the hymns, psalms and the setting of the Eucharist. They also sing one or two items while the congregation takes communion. These might be hymns, anthems or even a gospel song with percussion! Many members of the choir are also instrumentalists, and they are often to be found playing during services.
The choir also sings at special services throughout the year, such as Easter, Remembrance Sunday and the popular Nine Lessons and Carols Service at Christmas.
They are led by the church organist and choir master, Stephen Marshall.
The choir is always happy to welcome new members – email Stephen Marshall to find out more: stephengmarshall@gmail.com
