24th January is St. Catwg’s Patronal Festival and we are therefore planning a weekend of celebration!
Elizabeth Siberry will be giving a talk at 3pm on Saturday 27th January entitled “The Life and Legacy of St. Catwg” which will be followed by our famous tea and homemade cake. Entry is free but donations to the Fabric Fund will be gratefully accepted. If you don’t already know about the saint whose name is shared with our Ministry Area, come and find out more!
On Saturday 11 November at 3.00pm, we will be holding an event at the church for Remembrance Day. Elizabeth Siberry will be talking about some of the people commemorated on our memorials who died in connection with conflict and Rev. Morgan Llewellyn will be talking about the significance of Remembrance Day and reading a selection of war poetry. This fascinating talk will be followed by homemade cake and tea and coffee in the church room – we hope to see you there.
